January 29, 2010

 

 

The Alabama Chapter of the American College of Cardiology was recognized with four awards at the
American College of Cardiology National Award Ceremony in Washington DC on January 29, 2010.

 

Four awards were given to the states that best promote the mission of the College

of Cardiology in State Advocacy, Education, Membership & Community, and Quality. 

The Alabama Chapter received the No. 1 award for Excellence in State Advocacy, honorable mention

in Education, Spirit of Excellence in Membership & Community, and Spirit of Excellence in Quality

The AL Chapter President, Dr. Phillip L. Laney, Huntsville and Executive Director, Dee S. Mooty
accepted the awards on behalf of the AL Chapter ACC membership.
